The mission of this blog is to encourage each person to find restoration by BELIEVING their worth and identity in Christ. I encourage you to be REAL, and pray that you find peace in being your imperfect self by believing in God’s unfailing love and redeeming grace. Each of us has worth, value, a place, and a purpose within God’s Kingdom.
Before God can use us and help us reach our unimaginable potential, we must first BELIEVE our Creator loves us and has a plan for us. We must allow ourselves to be healed and restored by God wherever we are wounded. We must allow His perfect love and redeeming grace into our souls to refuse feelings of rejection, shame, worthlessness, and insecurity. We must renew our minds and believe the many truths in God’s Word that speak directly about our value to Him and His Kingdom. We are meant to glorify God in all we do.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 NIV
I want to be genuine about my journey as I remember my past experiences, but I believe that those experiences do not have to define me. They can refine me! I also want to inspire and encourage you as I go through my current journey of believing my worth and identity in Christ, and striving to discover my purpose in His Kingdom.
My life is not a perfect picture of graceful motherhood. But I’m learning to show more grace as I learn to receive more grace from our Father. The more I understand God’s grace and renew my mind to accept His truths, the more it is a natural response for me to both accept and pour out grace. I hope to be a reminder of how God pours out His love and grace upon us to give us worth, restoration, identity, and purpose.
